A Russian Federation official blamed the US and its allies for "undermining" the situation in Afghanistan.
"Instead of admitting mistakes and refusing to dictate, they took the financial leverage to push their demands on the Taliban movement," Oleg Syromolotov, deputy foreign minister, told an international conference, as quoted by Sputnik.
Political analysts believe that the increasing pressure on the Islamic Emirate will cause an escalation in extremist activities and lead to the further deterioration of the Afghan economy.
"As the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan becomes worse, the Asian and Central Asian countries will be affected," said Mehdi Afzali, a political analyst.
"The US should not put financial pressure on the Taliban to meet its wishes," said Sayed Haroon Hashimi, a political analyst.
The Islamic Emirate cited the foreign countries interference as a reason for the current chaos in the country.
"The current chaos originated from the 20-year war and the invasion by foreign countries. Any country which takes steps to ensure the rights of Afghans is important for us," said Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate.
Although some world countries have pledged to provide assistance to Afghanistan to avert the economic and humanitarian crisis in the country, they have yet to recognize the current Afghan government.
